As a lawyer I just wanted to say that this is a great overview of driver contracts and what is currently happening in motorsport law. One interesting thought to contemplate is whether the CAB or in fact the FIA Court of Appeals are in fact legal. A bit like the fox guarding the hen house? Perhaps appealing to the civil courts like IndyCar or using the CAS for final appeals is a better way to go then staying essentially in-house and avoiding a potential conflict of interest? Food for thought.
